2012 Clinical Conference
Request for Proposals (RFPs)
2012 Conference - Practice/Research Networking Forum
Request for Proposals (RFP)
Each year, beginning with the upcoming Clinical Conference, KAMFT will offer participants a Practice/Research Networking Forum hosted by one of the MFT programs in the state of Kansas: Friends University—Lenexa, Friends University—Wichita, and this year’s host, Kansas State University.
Students from both Universities as well as new professionals throughout the state will share their ideas and clinical experiences.
We want to hear about what you are doing to serve families as you complete your internship, thesis or portfolio. We want to hear from YOU, the practicing clinician, and learn more about how you have come to serve couples and families across the state.
What could you present at the conference? Well, here are some ideas:
- Have you developed your therapeutic skills with a specific presenting issue (infidelity, ADHD, depression/anxiety, etc.)?
- Have you conceptualized a case study, worked with a specific population, or utilized theory in an unique way that you want to share with your colleagues?
- What is your integrative model of how change occurs?
- Tell us about your work at your internship site or your practice and a unique application of MFT expertise.
- Whatever the population or topic, we would love to have your contribution presented at our Practice/Research Networking Forum.
Benefits of Presenting
- Build your resume!
- Receive feedback from your colleagues!
